I found this article by way of instapundit and it’s something that I have wondered as well. Why are there no Jewish fantasy writers?
I think that the answers he comes up with are interesting but not necessarily complete. Yes there isn’t a duality in Judaism but I do think a book (or a series) could be written with in the jewish theology. The Magicians looks interesting but the protagonist doesn’t sound like he is Jewish. I may give it a read anyway.
