When the news broke about Fringe moving to Friday nights starting January 21st, a lot of fans were worried about this sounding the death knell for the series. Fox decided to let the fans know exactly how behind the series they are by spoofing the “Friday Kiss of Death” in a commercial:

By the way, if you are a Fringe fan and would like a good podcast to listen to about Fringe, check out the “FringeCasting with Wayne and Dan” podcast. It’s the only Fringe specific podcast I’ll listen to.
One of my favorite new shows of the year, Fringe, got it’s official notice that it will be renewed for next season.
The show is created by JJ Abrams (he of Lost and the new Star Trek movie) and it has what seems to be an arc for the show’s duration. Ever since Babylon 5, I have been a sucker for shows that have an arc to them. I just love knowing that the writers have a beginning, middle and end in mind for their show.
